Vision & Mission

The department was established during the inception of the institute in 2010 as the department of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (E&TC). Since its commencement, the primary objective of the department has been to impart quality education, training and research at the undergraduate various areas of Electronics and Communication Engineering with broad emphasis on design aspects of electronic systems.

The department has always been on a high growth path and has experienced and dedicated faculty members with a strong commitment to engineering education. The major areas of faculty expertise of the department include Communications, Digital Signal Processing, Control, Instrumentation, Very large Scale Integration Technology, Image Processing, Microprocessors and Microelectronics etc.

Short Term Goals

  • Promote close interaction among industry, faculty and students to enrich the learning process and enhance career opportunities for students
  • Opportunities and ensure regular skill up gradation of faculty and staff through structured training programs.
  • To improve industry institute interaction.
  • To improve department to such an extent that it can be recognized a tUniversity level.
  • To improve student’s performance in University Examinations.
  • To start placements of the students.
  • To continuously upgrade departmental laboratories and departmental library.
  • To enhance qualifications of faculty and staff-members.

Long Term Goals

  • To have at least one rank in university in first ten rankers every year
  • To start P.G. courses in Electronics Engineering.
  • To march towards 100% students campus placements with decent packages.
  • To start articulation programs in collaborations with Foreign Universities.
  • To have well developed Research and Development center in the department.
