Department Mission
To preserve the values inherent in traditional Indo-Islamic culture and character by developing managerial capabilities, ethical values by maintaining proficiency in engineering while encouraging social and national responsibility and services to society.
Department Vision
To create Technocrats in the field of engineering with prophetic character.
SHORT TERM GOALS
- To promote close interaction among industry, faculty and students to enrich the learning process and enhance career opportunities for students.
- To widen the opportunities and ensure regular skill updating of faculty and staff through structured training programs.
- To improve department to such an extent that it can be recognized at University level.
- To enhance the quality placements.
- To enhance qualifications of staff.
- Arrange Special classes for rural students for improving their Communication Skills and personality development.
LONG TERM GOALS
- To have at least one rank in university in first ten rankers every year.
- To start P.G. courses in Engineering.
- To train students and staff in emerging technologies for sustainable career growth.
- To have well developed Research and Development center in the department.
- Keep faculty members abreast with the latest trends and developments in Research, Technology and Teaching methodologies especially through interaction, by sending them to other premier Institutions for research and by conducting AICTE-ISTE sponsored STTPs in our College.
- To train the students for creative thinking, innovation in preparing projects that can be commercialized.

Eligibility Criteria
B. Tech. (Regular) :
- Pass in PUC / 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Electronics / Technical Vocational subjects and obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to SC/ST category) in the above subjects taken together, of any Board recognized by the respective State Governments / Central Government / Union Territories or any other qualification recognized as equivalent thereto.
- Good score in Jamia Institute Common Entrance Test (JIEMSAKK CET ) or CET / COMED-K / Uni-GAUGE or any other equivalent examination conducted by recognized Institute / Agency. (for lateral entry and for more details log on to University website: ww.jiemsakk.com
